- We need both. The Word without Action will not achieve the goal we are trying to obtain. If I tell a person about Jesus, and then go someplace and treat someone unkindly that would dim the person's view of me and may cause them not to seek ...after Jesus. So, we need to not only watch what we say, but watch how we act. Make sure what you heard is the truth before judging. Go to the person and ask them. Because, you might think badly of a person, and just because you have perceived something in your mind about them you may just find after you talked them it didn't happen the way you thought it did. Our perceptions of things and the actual truth are sometimes completely opposite ends of the spectrum.
As Joe said, there are times to speak and then there are times to be a doer of the word, and then there are times to do both.
When you are speaking of Jesus, it is important to let people know where they can find out more about Him. It is the time to not only let them know about the Bible, but let them know about a Church they can get Love and support from. To get the answers they need.
We can give a person a fish, and it will feed them for the day, but if we teach them how to fish it will feed them for a Lifetime. 1st Corinthians 15:50-57
So, lets go fishing. You need to bring more then your fishing pole. LOL Don't forget all the other gear you will need.♥♥♥♥♪♪ ♥♥♥♥ ♫
